Business Continuity Planning, Computer Network Consulting, plus Network Support in West Palm Beach Equals the Perfect Storm

It's the peak of hurricane season 2010.  If your company's hurricane plan consists of opening the Office Depot catalog to buy a new cartridge for your tape back-up drive, we need to talk.  First, don't feel bad, there are solutions and you're not alone.

Without trying to make this an advertisement, we've been  quite surprised that our clients don't really know what is available in business continuity and disaster recovery planning.  One business - and we won't name names - really did asked if we could help them set up their back-up tape drive recently.  Further, most business we talk to think that only large organizations have budgets that can afford enterprise-class business continuity planning.  No so.

The good news is that the Giants of  IT, like Microsoft, wisely see that supporting small and medium-sized business infrastructure is a valuable future market.  They are planning for that future and this is fantastic news for our conversation today about business continuity and disaster recovery planning.  For example hosted Exchange Server are two recent products that can liberate business from the dependency on local hardware and on-premises conditions.

Our core business is designing 100% secure and complete business continuity strategies. Today, terms like, "co-location, managed services, hosted servers, Cloud services, and data center suites" may sound like a foreign language, but  soon this will be standard business vocabulary. In the meantime, we're happy to guide you through a plan to secure your infrastructure with intelligent, leading-edge solutions. Of course, small and medium-sized business owners are going to be concerned about how to pay for such "leading-edge" services.  You may be surprised to find that Atlantic Networking's custom business continuity planning offers business a variety of sound options at affordable rates.

Business IT and computer network consulting is moving away from impressive-looking, but  very expensive on-premises equipment like servers and raid arrays.  Yes, more good news - save money, save, electricity, save the planet.  Managed services, including co-location and remote data access, allows clients to back-up large quantities of data and access it from anywhere.

And our final ray of sunshine is this:
Copper wire is out and broadband is in. Voice Over Internet Protocols (VOIP) allows you to send out your tactical squad in advance of the hurricane and your employees can answer phones and communicate with clients from the hotel or, a relative's house before, during, and after the storm.  You no longer need to ask key employees to ride out the hurricane so that you can get your business up and running asap after the storm.

So Florida put away that OD catalog and follow some links to peace of mind that even a really big generator cannot provide.  You'll find the right network support and bid goodbye to the call that goes,"Yeah, Boss, I'm flooded in with no electricity, trees are down and I can't make it to work..."
